I. Structure of the text • Part IV: from Then came Asbestos Clothes. to … and so on. • Part V: from We sat silent … to the end.
II.Main idea of the text • This text is a science fiction. In the “ new society ” by Leacock, there’s no war,hunger,disease, natural disasters and gender inequality. But life is dull, empty and meaningless. In fact, these problems gives life interest, fullness and purpose. A world without these is not only impossible, but also un desir-able.
