Research topic: • Researched The History of Marching Band • How marching was introduced • Why it was being used • How it became incorporated in music • The research topic helped me… • Learn more about marching before starting • Understand how marching was used in 19th Century • Become more creative with drum rhythms

  5. Why this topic? • Always have been very skillful with computers • Enjoy learning how to use new computer software • Eager to become a percussion clinician or songwriter

Creation Process Steps: • Formulate potential drum rhythms & ideas • Document into Finale Notepad • Draft more complex rhythms in skeleton. • Begin audio recording of final draft. • Begin editing process • Video record final draft • Import into Final Cut Pro 7 • Edit & Finalize project in Final Cut Pro 7
