  3. Caligrafía Occidental : Es la caligrafía basada en el alfabeto latino, creado por los romanos, abarca los trabajos realizados empleando el alfabeto griego o cirílico.

  4. Caligrafía Árabe : Arte decorativo propio de los pueblos que utilizan el alfabeto árabe y sus variantes. Se considera como la principal de los artes islámicos.

  5. Caligrafía Uncial : Tipo de escritura en el que todo texto se escribe en letras mayúsculas. Fue uso común entre los siglos III y VII. Desde el siglo XIII este tipo de escritura se utilizo en la escritura de títulos y letras capitales.
