  2. Cause/effect • When I squeeze this little green, rubber ball, my hands tingle.

  3. Classification • This is a green, hard rubber sphere which is used for hand exercise and rehabilitation.

  4. Contrast/comparison • This green rubber ball is smaller than an orange but larger than a golf ball.

  5. Exemplification • This ball was given to me by my trainer as a way to strengthen my tennis grip.
