Course Description & Goal Objectives • This class will: • Instruct students in a basic understanding of music, including aspects of: • Theory • History • Performance • Afford students the opportunity to put their knowledge into practice by performing in our End of the Trimester Concert • “Change of Seasons” Concert, November 21

  4. Grading/Homework Policy • Students will be graded according to the following weighted categories: • Daily Participation = 20% of total grade • Tests & Quizzes= 20% of total grade • Projects = 20% of total grade • Concert = 30% of total grade • Music Binder = 10% of total grade • Late Work: Late work will be accepted through the end of each unit. It is the students’ responsibility to bring each assignment to the teacher for grading/adjudication.

Keep hands and feet to yourself Consequences: Verbal Warning Conference with Teacher Recess Detention Phone Call Home Student/Parent Teacher Conference Office Referral Behavior Expectations & Discipline Policy
