Introduction: Buzz Lightyear, a beloved character from Disney was found poisoned by one of twenty suspects. He and Woody were starting a cooking show and invited other cartoons to join. The cartoons had to bring four main items. Mick’s class ran tests to find the crime scene of each item. They ran tests on all of the four things which are: • A liquid for a drink • A white powder for a desert • Any of three types of hotdog • A wrap to put the hotdog in The class ran many tests on these and finally found the answer.
Hypothesis Mick had a hypothesis as to who did it. His hypothesis was that it was Luke Skywalker. He thought this because the things that Luke brought which were, salt water, aluminum, sodium polyacrylate, and a ft free hot-dog, looked like the things he found at the crime scene.

Materials Hand lenses, triple beam balance, spoons, stirring rods, matches, paper cups, iodine, hot plates, well-plate, beakers, eyedroppers, sodium bicarbonate, conductivity meters, graduated cylinder, hydrochloric acid, goggles, forceps.
Drinks Result After comparing all of the evidence Mick figured out that the crime scene drink had to be water. He knew this because all the tests matched up and he also knew the density of water was one.
Powder Results After comparing all of the data Mick gained he came to the conclusion that the substance had to be sucrose because he saw that all of the tests matched the crime scene powder.
Wraps Results When Mick compared all of the data he found that the mystery substance matched the data of zinc. The big give away for him was the density.
Hotdog results When Mick compared results he saw that the crime scene hotdog data matched the plain pork hotdog. He saw that they had all of the same results.
Procedures Density-1. got the objects mass Malleable- 1. bent metal 2. got the objects volume 3. divided mass by volume Conductivity-1. placed the conductivity meter on and read the lights. Luster-1. saw how shiny it was Reactivity-1. used something to get a reaction Solubility-1. poured water to see if it dissolved.

Conclusion • In the end Mick and his class saw that the crime scene objects all matched the objects that Sponge-Bob Square-Pants. He and his classmates know this because he has pork, zinc, sucrose, and water.
