Faculty • Now, there are 18 full-time faculties with extensive industrial and teaching experiences, putting emphasis on both the theory and practical experience: • 6 Professors • 6 Associate Professors • 6 Assistant Professors
Feature of Faculty (1/2) • All the faculty members possess Ph.D. degree from various well- known universities around the world, receiving thorough, solid academic traning. • With international views, the faculties received their doctorates from countries including U.S., Japan,and Taiwan.
Feature of Faculty (2/2) • 95% of the full-time faculty have industrial experience. Averagely, each teacher has practical experience of 8 years. • The faculty's average teaching experience is 16 years. • The ratio of the faculty's industrial and teaching experience is 1:2. Thus, teachers have both the theoretical and practical knowledge

Curriculum • The design of the curriculum includes professional knowledge in domains like structural, geotechnical and building technology, accompanied with practical thematic courses, emphasizing both the theory and practice. Facility (1/6) • In order to meet the needs of teaching, researching, and the developmental features of the department, 8 laboratories were established. • Department equipment assets amounted to NT$ 137 million. • The Construction Technical Service Lab. and the Seismic Disaster Prevention Lab. Facility (2/6) • As a large experiment center in south Taiwan, with the most plentiful equipments across the region south of Hsinchu, the Seismic Disaster Prevention Lab. collaborates with the“ NARL's National Center for Research on Earthquake Engineering," completing many of the country's first large-scale experiment.
