  5. IB Diploma Requirements Complete CAS requirement ANDminimum of 24 points as follows:

  6. #1 - Extended Essay Completion of TOK and Extended Essay is a requirement for the IB Diploma • TOK / Extended Essay  Scored 0 - 3 points • Extended Essay • Completed within IB Theory of Knowledge • Independent, self-directed, 4,000 word (14-page) research paper • Topic selected from approved IB subject list • Students are supported by an assigned Supervisor (MP Faculty / Staff) Connect – Link to Extended Essay website posted at www.myersparkib.org

  7. #2 - Creativity, Activity & Service (CAS) Completion of CAS is a requirement for the IB Diploma - must span 18 months • Learning Outcomes (pre-approval, reflection & evidence required for each) • Strength & Growth • Challenge & Skills • Initiative & Planning • Commitment & Perseverance • Collaborative Skills • Global Engagement • Ethics of Choices & Action • Interviews with CAS Coordinator (completed via ManageBac) • Start of CAS Program • End of 1st year of CAS Program • End of CAS Program • CAS Project • Collaborative, sequential series of CAS experiences that engage students • Minimum duration of one month from planning to completion Download - CAS Guideline document at www.myersparkib.org

  8. #3 - IB Diploma Exams Completion of Diploma Exams is a requirement for the IB Diploma • Diploma Exams  Scored 0 - 7 points • Must test in each of the 6 Subject Areas • NO MAKEUP EXAMS Download – IB Diploma Exam information at www.myersparkib.org
