  21. Menstrual Cycle Day 1 - 5 MENSTRUATION begins - (a girl gets her period) The extra blood & lining of the uterus is shed, meanwhile another egg is maturing in an ovary

  22. Menstrual Cycle Day 6 - 14 The lining of the uterus begins to build-up with nutrient rich blood, at approximately day 14 OVULATION occurs.

  23. Menstrual Cycle Day 15 - 28 The ovum travels down the fallopian tube, the ovum reaches the uterus & hormone levels change, breakdown process begins
