Candidates will be eligible for admission under All-India Quota if they meet the eligibility requirements as mentioned in the table given below. NEET UG Reservation Criteria S. No. Category Reservation percentage 1. OBC (Other Backward Classes) 27% 2. Scheduled Caste (SC) 15% 3. Scheduled Tribe (ST) 7.5% 4. Physically Handicapped (PH) 5% How to prepare for NEET 2019 in less than 2 months As per the syllabus of NEET 2019, questions will be asked from three subjects - Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is advised that you focus only on the topics listed in the NEET 2019 syllabus, as questions will mostly be asked from them only.
Along with the syllabus, analyse and go through the exam pattern carefully to learn about the exam structure. A brief overview of NEET 2019 exam pattern is as follows: ● The duration of the exam is 3 hours with questions asked from subjects physics, chemistry and biology. ● Question type will be multiple choice. ● Biology (90 questions) carries the same weightage as Physics (45) and Chemistry (45) combined together. ● Each correct answer carries 4 marks, while for every wrong answer (-1) mark will be deducted. ● Total marks are 720 for the exam. Study routine for NEET Revision in the last month One of the frequently asked questions is how to formulate a well-planned study routine for NEET in the last month, which will ensure that an appropriate amount of time is set for each subject. ● Study Hours: Devote approximately 14 hours a day to studies along with small breaks for an ideal last month study routine. Continuous studies will help to regularize study schedule and provide ample time to revise the NEET syllabus in just one month.
● Dividing the time: Divide the study time between the revision of NEET 2019 syllabus, do a lot of NEET mock test practise and analysis the errors. Focus majorly on conceptual clarity of problems. ● Study Material: Repeatedly go through the learnt part without reading the books already read. During the last preparatory days, students should just go through NCERT books which contain in-depth knowledge of every topic. ● Stress Busters: Limit distractions like social media, games, etc. And use these either as means of refreshment or as stress busters during study breaks only, and cracking the exam should remain the main goal.
