Priority: fieldwork • Ensure that each class has at least one fieldwork outing in the locality during the year. • What are the barriers? How do we overcome them? • What are the benefits? Does everyone know what they are? What do we want pupils to get out of this?
Attendance Behaviour Attitudes Can I find evidence using Ofsted criteria to link to the school SEF? Participation Fieldwork How well do learners enjoy their education? Co-operation Achievement Inclusion Reputation
Priority: curriculum • Supporting staff to innovate • Resources for exciting lessons • Linking with core subjects • Supporting initiatives? E.g. creativity, Sustainable Schools, ECM etc? How can geography be used as a curriculum resource?
Priority: an enquiry led approach to learning Does learning build on what pupils know and want to know? Is it purposeful?
Priority: is it distinctive within a creative curriculum? + Science Do we all know where the geography is? + History, Literacy & ICT + Art

Priority: excellence and enjoyment I learnt how to use a digital camera. We had loads of fun. I had a lovely time. I really enjoyed listening to the sky larks singing Do I have evidence to support both pupils’ enjoyment and attainment? I have learnt ever so much about birds, boats and all sorts of different places and how to look after our neighbourhood and not to vandalise it. I am really lucky to be at school.
