  7. The New Covenant to the Church is the forgiveness of our sins providing for a new spiritual heritage in Christ as demonstrated by His Resurrection.

  8. In order for this New Covenant to be ratified it required a Sacrifice, a Priest to officiate over the sacrifice and a Mediator equal to both parties to bring reconciliation.

  9. M. Jesus Christ is our unique High Priest.

  10. M. Jesus Christ is our unique High Priest.1. He is unique because He was appointed by God the Father in eternity past as the King-Priest, Psa 110:4.

  11. M. Jesus Christ is our unique High Priest.2. He is unique because He is the only high priest in history to be born as Adam was created.

  12. M. Jesus Christ is our unique High Priest.3. He is the only high priest to be filled with the Holy Spirit from birth, Isa 11:2; 42:1; Mat 12:18; John 3:34.

  13. Isa 42:1, “Behold, My Servant, whom I uphold; My chosen one in whom My soul delights. I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the nations.”

  14. M. Jesus Christ is our unique High Priest.4. He is the only high priest to offer Himself as a sacrifice.

  15. M. Jesus Christ is our unique High Priest.5. He is the only high priest who offers eternal life to anyone who believes in Him. John 11:25

  16. 6. He is the only high priest to be born perfect and remain perfect under the greatest pressure and temptation of all time, Mat 4:1-11;Heb 2:17-18, 4:15.

  17. 7. He is the only high priest to test and prove the prototype spiritual life, which has now been given to us.

  18. 8. He is the only high priest in a resurrection body. Rom 1:4; 1 Peter 1:3; 3:21;Luke 22:69; Col 3:31

  20. 1 Cor 11:24,“And when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, ‘This is My body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of Me’.”

  21. 1 Cor 11:25, “In the same way He took the cup also after supper, saying, ‘This cup is the New Covenant in My blood; do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me’.”
