  2. Arquetipos Sistémicos Herramientas accesibles que permiten construir hipótesis creíbles y coherentes acerca de las fuerzas que influyen en los sistemas.

Todos los arquetipos están construidos por ladrillos sistémicos: • Procesos reforzadores: Los cambios pequeños se vuelven grandes, generando crecimiento exponencial y colapso. • Procesos compensadores: Generan estabilidad, resistencia y limites. Garantizan, por ejemplo, que haya algún modo de detener un círculo vicioso. • Demoras: Ocurre tanto en procesos reforzadores como en compensadores.

  4. Arquetipo 1: Límites del crecimiento Un proceso reforzador (amplificador) se pone en marcha para producir un resultado deseado. Crea una espiral de éxito pero también genera efectos secundarios inadvertidos (manifestados en un proceso compensador) que eventualmente atentan contra el éxito.

  7. ¿Cómo aplicar la palanca? En todas ellas, el punto de apalancamiento se encuentra en el rizo compensador, no en el rizo reforzador. Para cambiar la conducta del sistema, hay que identificar y modificar el factor limitativo.
