WSIS USJRB Withdrawal Scenario Results • Base – 1995 conditions • No withdrawal from mainstem • No Taylor Creek Reservoir (TCR) release for minimum flows • No diversion from TCR for water supply
WSIS USJRB Withdrawal Scenario Results • Full Withdrawal – Step Function • Target average withdrawal from TCR of 55 mgd (85 cfs) • River diversion based on flow at SR 50: • When flow <= 194 mgd (300) cfs, no diversion • As flow exceeds 194 mgd (300) cfs, the excess up to 58 mgd (90 cfs) is diverted to TCR • From 252-388 mgd (390-600) cfs, diversion remains constant at 58 mgd (90 cfs) • As flow exceeds 388 mgd (600 cfs), the excess up to 26 mgd (40 cfs) for a total of up to 84 mgd (130 cfs) is diverted to TCR • Diversions into TCR are cut off when stage reaches 46.0 ft NGVD • A constant 55 mgd (85 cfs) are diverted from TCR for water supply • A constant 11 mgd (17 cfs) are released from TCR for minimum flow • Both TCR outflows are cut off when stage drops to 30.0 ft NGVD
WSIS USJRB Withdrawal Scenario Results • Half Withdrawal – Step Function • Target average withdrawal from TCR of 27.5mgd (42.5 cfs) • River diversion based on flow at SR 50: • When flow <= 194 mgd (300) cfs, no diversion • As flow exceeds 194 mgd (300) cfs, the excess up to 29mgd (45 cfs) is diverted to TCR • From 252-388 mgd (390-600) cfs, diversion remains constant at 29mgd (45 cfs) • As flow exceeds 388 mgd (600 cfs), the excess up to 13mgd (20 cfs) for a total of up to 42.5mgd (65 cfs) is diverted to TCR • Diversions into TCR are cut off when stage reaches 46.0 ft NGVD • A constant 27.5mgd (42.5 cfs) are diverted from TCR for water supply • A constant 11 mgd (17 cfs) are released from TCR for minimum flow • Both TCR outflows are cut off when stage drops to 30.0 ft NGVD
