Check out pictures and information related to tornadoes, lightning, hurricanes, and storm chasing.   3. LET'S PRETEND... Home You are a meteorologist (someone who studies weather patterns.) Click on the following site to find three different tools with which you can collect weather data. Record your answers on your Webquest Guide, and be sure to include a 1-2 sentence explanation of how each tool works. Connect to Encarta Encyclopedia Website

  4. Home Your Task You are about to embark on a weather journey. On this journey you will be writing a weather broadcast for the evening news. Your broadcast must include… • An introduction-catch the reader’s attention using weather-related facts or jokes you encountered • Today’s forecast and the extended forecast • Local activities that the upcoming weather will affect and how viewers should prepare • A poster showing the highs/lows and chance of precipitation for today and the rest of the week
