  1. May Week of: May 12th – May 16th This week we are learning about… MATH- Million Dollar Project focused on place value, budgeting, and subtracting large numbers. LANGUAGE ARTS- Poetry Science- Adaptations Social Studies- Texas, and Current Events Dear Parents, Friday, May 16th is field day!! Please make sure your child brings a sack lunch or let me know ASAP if your child will need one from the cafeteria. We will eat lunch at 10:30, and we will begin field day at 11:00 a.m. We will be going on a field trip May 23rd to the Denton Recycling Center followed by lunch at Eureka Park. We will leave the school at 9:00, and we will return to the school at approximately 2:00. The cost of the field trip is $5.00, and all students will need to bring a sack lunch that can be thrown away. If your child will need a sack lunch from the cafeteria please let me know. Please try and return permission slips and money ASAP.
