Communities That Care participation rates for 6th, 8th,10th, & 12th graders
30 - Day Alcohol UseFinney: 28.40% In 2009 & 2010, there was an over 80% participation rate in Communities That Care survey resulting in a more accurate depiction of youth attitudes pertaining to 30-day alcohol use. In 2011, there was a 76% participation in the CTC survey. The goal for 2012 CTC is to increase participation to 80% or higher.
Binge DrinkingFinney: 15.4% In 2009 & 2010, there was an over 80% participation rate in Communities That Care survey resulting in a more accurate depiction of youth attitudes pertaining to 30-day alcohol use. In 2011, there was a 76% participation in the CTC survey. The goal for 2012 CTC is to increase participation to 80% or higher. The Finney County Community Health Coalition is focusing on youth in grades KG-8th with the exception of one program offered to high school students.
