A Vibrant Village Council’s vision for the future of Carlisle Street is for: (Carlisle Street Structure Plan and Urban Design Framework 2009) a diverse activity mix an authentic and unique place identity an active street life with a focus on cultural and community life an attractive, functional and sustainable built environment accessible design for all appropriate residential opportunities and enhanced existing residential experiences.
