  1. A Student’s Reflection Entering this class I was totally frightened about my chances at success. I’ve never been a good math student at all. But the way the class is set up totally allows you to succeed. They have all the resources readily available for any and all at any given time. It’s simply a matter of applying yourself. If you’ll do that you can’t fail with the way they implement the program. It’s been a real pleasure getting my feet wet while moving in a positive direction towards College Algebra. Thanks sincerely. General Education Success Success in General Education Mathematics Classes (College Algebra, Contemporary Math, Statistics, & Precalculus) based on placement method Note: These rates exclude students who earned an “I” or a “CIP”. FA10 was the first semester for the entire College Prep Math (CPM) sequence. Students in the “other” category might have taken the prerequisite more than a year ago or have demonstrated the prerequisite to an advisor.
