Ball State University’sSTANDARDS FOR PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION Under the new rules from the Indiana Professional Standards Board (IPSB) teachers are given licenses only when it has been demonstrated that they have met standards established by the IPSB. What is INTASC? The Interstate New Teacher Assessment and Support Consortium (INTASC) is a consortium of state education agencies and national educational organizations dedicated to the reform of the preparation, licensing, and on-going professional development of teachers. There are currently 34 states that belong to the consortium.
