  5. Our Stable Program • Trusting and Safe Environment • In It Together • Help them to find a focus and rudder • Focus on what they can control • Goal Setting, Expectations, Intrinsic Value • “What is DELAYED is not DENIED” • delayed gratification • Order and Discipline - Cauldron

  6. Their Practice World • Game Like Training • Less Control • Choices (they are now making decisions) • Growth • Leadership

Hovering Parents • 9 out of 10 College Freshman like hovering parents! • Now what do we do? • Replace, wean and facilitate GROWTH • Safe environment allows this PROCESS • Allows the goal of PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY • Relationships with Freshman and Seniors • Prepared citizens to go out into the community
