Present Tense Tells about an action or state of being that is happening NOW. I workat school. I am late for class.
Forming the Present Tense To form the present tense Keep the basic form of the verb OR Add –s or -es

The PRESENT tense names an action that is happening now. The pitcher throws the ball to the catcher. Pettitte plays for the Yankees. The batter walks to 1st base.
