MDRS ATV Fuel Contamination. MDRS ATV Fuel Contamination. As requested by ET, the fuel in both ATV 1 and ATV 2 was sampled, as was the fuel in the Refuelling Station. As shown in the attached slides, there is evidence of contamination, which may be the source of yesterdays problems.

MDRS ATV Fuel Contamination • As requested by ET, the fuel in both ATV 1 and ATV 2 was sampled, as was the fuel in the Refuelling Station. • As shown in the attached slides, there is evidence of contamination, which may be the source of yesterdays problems. • Request ET direction on actions to be taken.

  3. Refuel Tank sample on LHS ATV 1 sample on RHS Fuel sampled from bottom of fuel tank using tubing and syringe Blue colouration slightly milky in appearance, rust particles Refuel Tank vs ATV 1

  4. Refuel Tank sample on LHS ATV 2 sample on RHS Fuel sampled from bottom of fuel tank using tubing and syringe Yellow colouration, clear with bubbles on container glass, rust particles and suspended dirt Water/fuel separation Refuel Tank vs ATV 2

  5. ATV 1 sample on LHS ATV 2 on sample RHS Fuel sampled from bottom of fuel tank using tubing and syringe Noticeable difference between ATV 1 vs ATV 2
