  3. Caution: Mind numbing activities • Beware of Social Media Although Video games, television and social networking don’t necessarily always have a negative influence, when allowed to become the center of ones life; the physical, mental and spiritual affects can become extremely damaging and almost impossible to repair.

  4. Negative effects of Social Media • Symptomfind.com put out an article with studies formed by different universities showing the following effects of social media: • Cause of depression • Leads to addiction • Inhibits Physical Interaction With Others • Leads To Isolation • Hinders Creativity And Decreases Physical Activity

  5. Positive affects of music • ehow.com, a health based website posted research illustrating how music influences youth, it has been proven that youth involved in music: • Become more successful in school • Are better behaved • Form healthy social skills • Develop motor development

  6. My own personal saving grace • Riding taught me many life lessons and always gave me something to be excited about even in the hardest times of life.

  7. Creating work ethic and character Not being the cheapest of hobbies, Owning and maintaining machines gave me a reason to work and enjoy working. Along with this I learned how to financially set goals, save money, and live by a budget.

  8. Love what you do!

  9. Reach Your own personal potential Each and everyone of us have talents, skills and abilities. When we do not productively work at developing those skills we in a way become useless. When Talents and hobbies are found and developed, one becomes happier, more successful and essentially an asset to society.
