We therefore agree that – food loss and waste reduction has to be cost-effective in economic and environmental terms, – it has to be the result of increased efficiency of value chains – and it has to be socially acceptable. Food loss and waste reduction will then be able to contribute to increased food safety and sustainable food systems worldwide…
