Unfortunately it would have been much cheaper to go to Maccas. We documented what we had, where we got it and how much it cost. Lea Had:3 Curry Puffs, Rice and Noodles From: Think Asia Cost: $9.50 Tori Had: Chicken, Avo, Tomato & Cheese Roll From: Rive Gauche Cost: $8.50 LuNcH Rebecca Had: Spinich, Feta & Tomato Muffin From: Muffin Break Cost: 4.50

H&S The Presentation • Individual roles for presentation: • Charlotte: talk about the blog. • Because she set up the blog and worked on it and as she has a personal interest in healthy lifestyle planning she is best suited to answer the questions asked about it. • Lea: talks about the science. • Because even though it’s a small part, it is still needed. Lea was the one who did the research, so she knows it best. Lea will also present the introduction. • Tori: talk about the essay and the photos. • Because I wrote the essay as well as recording it, I also took and found the photographs , and therefore knows it best. I will also present the conclusion. • Rebecca: will run the technology. • Because she hasn’t been here for any of the project, so being unreliable and unknowledgeable on our product we thought it best not to give her an important part.
H&S Who did what… • Tori: The Photographic Essay and More. • I wrote the Essay, and recorded it. I took photos on our second excursion and researched some. (see 2nd Excursions for my personal pics). I put the photos together in the form of a PowerPoint to be viewed as the essay plays. I made a ‘Med Share in Fed Square’ pamphlet and business cards for the blog. I also got it it’s own qr code. I wrote my and Lea’s speech, and the conclusion which I read. • Lea: Science and More. • Lea did a lot of research on science, and created a wonderful summary. Lea also helped me by getting photographs of city maps, shown in the essay. Lea also created her own public meditation pamphlet relating more to Ti Qi, in the end this was unfortunately not used. Lea wrote the introduction which she read. WAS PRESENT EVERYDAY. • Charlotte: The Blog. • Charlotte did an amazing job of first of all setting up the blog, and secondly running it so efficiently. With multiple posts. I can confidently say Charlotte did a great job. Charlotte also wrote her own speech, which is good and informative. • Rebecca: Nothing. • Rebecca, due to being away for • the whole project, was unfortunately • unable to contribute in anyway. • She did attend both excursions.
H&S Feedback! • Thanks to the feedback we got from our practice presentation we were able to acknowledge what we need to focus on, what was good and what can be improved. • I learned that I should: • Make more eye-contact • Speak louder • Practice speech to gain confidence • Make it more conversational • Vary in tones • Slow down
H&S Problems • Losing Rasjot right at the start. • Having Rebecca not doing anything. • Charlotte missing the presentation. • Charlotte changing the blog at the last minute. • I made the Essay too long and didn’t have the picture moving in time. • Having to swap laptop at the last second because the teachers laptop froze. • Not being smooth and having the different aspects flow.
