DO-NOW: Creamsicle Shakes • Put books under white sewing tables. • Tie hair back. • Remove bulky sweaters/jackets • Wash hands • Get out the following equipment and place on your table. • 1-cup dry measuring cup • 2-cup liquid measuring cup • 1 cereal bowl • Drinking glass for each person • Straight-edge spatula • Rubber spatula • Cutting board

  5. Small Appliances • Can be easily moved • Can be used in different locations and rooms • Can be taken apart to be cleaned

  7. An appliance should not be plugged in when inserting or removing moving parts such as beaters and blades.

  8. DO NOT put an appliance into water unless it is labeled “immersible”. REMEMBER – WATER AND ELECTRICITY DO NOT MIX!!!!

  9. Never spray cleaners at the appliance motor or control panel. Spray the cleaner onto a damp sponge and wipe the appliance on the outside.

  10. If you get a shock from an appliance, unplug it immediately and don’t use it.

  11. The appliance power control should be on “OFF” whenever plugging the appliance in or out of the electrical outlet.

  13. Always grasp the plug – not the cord when disconnecting the electrical cord. • Don’t use extension cords or overload circuits.
