Motorsport Technologies of Houston Re-Launch of a Business From 1998 to 2008, Houston-based Motorsport Technologies was a well-recognized performance facility that serviced performance car owners in the area. The company grew quickly to produce more than several millions in revenue, and was internationally recognized. In 2008, they closed their doors when President/CEO, Jayson Cohen, decided to pursue other business ventures. In 2015, MTI announced the reopening of their facility.

Motorsport Technologies of Houston Upgrading Late Model Cars Under the direction of owner Jayson Cohen, Motorsport Technologies, Inc. of Houston was a highly-successful company that provided stellar service in the model car industry. Between 1994 and 2008, the shop was the destination chosen by many Motorsport enthusiasts in the Houston area as well as around the country. The company was also featured more than a dozen times in various automotive magazines.
