Characteristics of SDU • An internationally oriented, regionally rooted university with research and teaching at the highest levelin several cities • Focus on international aspects of education and research • A broad selection of degree programmes - both classic university subjects and new areas of education, often at the interface between the traditional academic fields. • Quality assurance of all degree programmes • Cooperation between the university and the other parts of the educational system • Collaboration with the surrounding society, including the researchers disseminating their knowledge to the surrounding society. • Collaboration with partners in Northern Germany through the project "VidenregionSyddanmark Schleswig-Holstein“
