  9. Visiting Teachers The Visiting Teachers Program offers U.S. and Canadian School Districts the opportunity to recruit Foreign Language and Bilingual teachers from Spain to teach at Elementary, Middle and High School levels.

  10. VisitingTeachers (II) Candidates: Qualified teachers from Spain. Duration: 1-3 years MOU: Between Departments of Education/School Districts and The Education Office (MECD) Born: 1986 in California and New York.

  12. North AmericanLanguage and Culture Assistants in Spain (I) It provides recent graduates with an opportunity to visit Spain and become acquainted with the Spanish Education System.

North American Language and Culture Assistants in Spain (II) • Started in 2005 with just 50 participants. • Candidates must have completed a Bachelor’s degree, or be in their junior/senior year. • Candidates work for most of our 17 Autonomous Regions. • Working conditions: 12-16 hours per week (700-1000€)

  15. Spanish Language and Culture Assistants In the U.S.A. • Teaching assitance at K-12 levels or Resource Centers • Bachelors in Primary or Secondary Education. • 20 hours per week.

  16. International Spanish Academies (ISA) (I) Prestigious U.S. Pre‐K, Elementary, Middle or High Schools: Teaching model based on a curriculum where Spanish is the vehicle language for part of the contents. MOU with MECD

SCHOOL OF THE YEARAward for Academic Excellence in Spanish Competition open to K-12 public, private and charter schools in the US that: • Have implemented language programs following CLIC methodology. • Use Spanish in the program (25% HS, 35% MS, 50% ES) The project counts on the sponsorship of: Santander Shareholders, Fundación Comillas, Instituto Cervantes and groups Anaya and Santillana.

  22. ALCE: Extracurricular Language and Culture classes Extracurricular Spanish Language and Culture lessons for Elementary, Middle and High School Spanish citizens registered in the American School System.

SummerCourses in SpainforTeachers and AdministratorsThe Summer Courses Program is offered in 11 Spanish Universities: • Spanish Language and Culture • Spanish as a Foreign Language and special courses • Masters in Spanish Language and Culture Duration: Courses are 3 weeks in July. Master: 6 weeks July to August Graduate credits are awarded by universities in the U.S.
