Update: Implementation Plan* for new TsunamiReady recognition guidelines

This document outlines the revised plan for implementing the new TsunamiReady recognition guidelines. The goal is to increase the number of TsunamiReady communities by finalizing the language and point values of the guidelines. The plan includes team facilitation instructions, discussion of additional issues, and next steps for improving the TsunamiReady program.

TR Guideline Workshop - Facilitation Instructions • Goal: finalize language and point values of new TR guidelines • Team 1 - Mitigation and Preparedness (scribe - Jen and Donna) • Team 2 - Response and Recovery (scribe - Chris) • Work from draft guidelines of population 50K or more (most comprehensive - can adjust others later) • Please nominate a spokesperson to report out (4pm today, 1pm tomorrow) • You are welcome to break work up into team sub-groups? • With time left Wednesday afternoon we will discuss some other issues: ∙ Bronze, Silver and Gold extra credit branding? ∙ Military installations ∙ Revisiting the grandfathering issue ∙ Role of TR supporters ∙ Next steps based on our TR Improvement Plan
