Approval Decision Analysis Distribution of responsibility for the process of defence standardization within MoD competence Director of the DSCGQA Authority is responsible for overall Defence Standardization management in the Czech Republic and in the Ministry of Defence (particularly for standardization of terminology, codification and GQA) Chief of General Staff, NAD and other MoD top level managers are responsible for Def. Standardization in areas of their responsibility Director of GS Division/MoD Dept. Stand. Group custodian Director of GS Department Stand. Class custodian Section manager / Stand. officer Expert, WG representative 2

  3. Responsibility distribution according to MoD Order DSCGQAA director is permanently responsible for management of standardisation process within MoD competence. Currently 8 MoD top managers (listed in MoD order) are responsible for management and realisation of standardisation within their competence. In case of MoD structure/responsibilities change, it is solved by simple editorial change of MoD order = very flexible tool. MoD top managers nominate Standardization group custodians within their competence. They are NOT listed in MoD Order, but in RESPONSIBILITY MATRIX - excel file generated from database. Standardization group custodians nominate Standardization class custodians within their competence (out of competence only after SG superior approval) DSCGQAA maintains up-to-date overview of Standardization group and class custodians according information received from them and share this information on intranet DSD webpage.

  5. Standardization management and planning Importance of continuous education and training of defence stand. personnel at management and expert level. Generally CZE MoD and armed forces planning is capability driven. So, it is Capability task custodian to make and fulfil commitments in given timeframe and scale. Usually CT custodian is also Stand. Group or Stand. Class custodian for related STANAGs and APs. DSD: permanent and careful check of consistency among planned processes, actions and implementation documents in standardization with the rest of MoD planning. Responsibility matrix and rolling standardization plan is regularly updated and evaluated and shared on intranet. In case of deviations, corrective actions have to be risen in the time and at the proper level. Necessity of continuous education of stand. personnel (custodian and expert level)
