HOW TO ARRIVE.... • If you are traveling to Murcia by plane you should know that the nearest airports are San Javier Airport and The Altet Airport which is farther than the first and located in Alicante), but with a major national and international offer of flights. • In a nearby future, you will also be able to get to our region through Corvera Airport located only 25 km from Murcia. It is a new airport which has not been opened yet, but which will operate hopefully in a few months • Other ways of reaching our Region is travelling by road or public transport. Regarding public transport different trains and coach operators connect our major towns and cities with Murcia. Another option is getting to our region by car, existing numerous companies that offer car rental services.

The location of this restaurant in Ricote´s Valley allows to see beautiful views to Ricote´s valley. In “The Deaf” restaurant, we can taste fine and highquality delicatessen; many of them elaborated with hunting meat (deer, partridge, deer, buck) • Moreover, Tourists who decide to come to Murcia cannot go away without visiting “PLAZA DE LAS FLORES” (Flowers square) in the city centre. A place with beautiful old buildings and full of life with its bars and local people drinking and savoring Murcia’s typical “tapas”. The most famous ones are the Meatpie and the Marinera. • LA TANA RESTAURANT is a nice and typical seafood restaurant located in the former fishermen’s port of Cabo de Palos (Cartagena). One of its premium plates are “Caldero” (soupy rice) and fish and seafood grills.

WHAT TO DO...... • According the variety of monuments, museums or landscapes we find, Murcia can offer many different activities but we want to recommend three of them. • If you like sightseeing you should know that the most emblematic monument of the city is the Cathedral, placed in the Cardinal Belluga square. • Another tourist attraction is San Esteban's Convent which today shelters wonderful temporary exhibitions. Close to the Almudi Palace, which is today an art centre, we find the ruins of the walls that surrounded the city during the eleventh and twelfth centuries. Moreover, visitors can tour the Town hall, the Romea Theatre or the Casino. The most important museums are among others the one dedicated to the sculptor Francisco Salzillo where tourists can see his famous Holy Week Steps.

While practicing them, tourists will have the possibility to see amazing landscapes such as El Cañon de Almadenes.
