Goals • To raise achievement in Reading in grades 1-5 from 85% meeting or exceeding standards to 90% meeting or exceeding standards as measured by the CRCT • To raise achievement in Math in grades 1-5 from 71% meeting or exceeding standards to 80% meeting or exceeding standards as measured by the CRCT • To have a minimum of 95% participation for all subgroups Swint Elementary School

Action Plan • 90 minute weekly grade level collaborative planning • Ongoing formal and informal observations of instruction • Media specialist collaboration with teachers to provide instructional support • Implement Pyramid of Intervention to provide assistance to students not meeting benchmarks • Implement success street intervention dedicating 40 minutes of school wide intervention • Post essential learning & mastery learning outcomes • Use DIBELS, Math Acuity, Grade Level Common Assessments and summative data to plan and differentiate instruction Swint Elementary School

  5. Non- Negotiables for Swint Elementary 2009-2010 Standards, essential questions and Blooms Taxonomy  must be posted on the white boards outside of the classrooms. Inside of each classroom on the white board located on the left side, the standards and essential questions must be posted. Students' work that is posted inside and outside of the classroom must be displayed with task cards,  teacher commentary and rubrics.   All work must be neat and mastered. Swint Elementary School
