Florida panthers main threat is loss of habitat, Humans are cutting down the panthers homes to put in roads and houses and stores and everything people use pretty much. the IUCN status on the Florida panther is critically endangered which means that there is a high risk of it becoming extinct. The Florida Panther Protection Program is doing what it can to get money from the government to fund saving the species and they are working hard to get the panthers on public land so that theyll be safe.
If we wanted to raise money we could do some sort of sale to raise money to give to the Florida Panther Protection Program, and someone could maybe write to the Florida government or something like that to ask for money to protect the state animal.
