Goals of Sessions • Integrate efforts for design and drawing production • Develop understanding of everyone’s role in the contract documents phase of projects • Develop standard ways of doing work to make everyone’s life easier • Quality control – measured as conformance to standard

Design Considerations • Generally most economical to maximize spans for 22 Ga Deck • Usually spec Z075 coating where painted • Z275 coating where unpainted • For sloped roof decks, check for rapid slope changes where simple spans may be necessary to ensure bearing
