Federal Budget Sequestration will be a Factor in All Near-Term ICOPS • There are signs that Technical Conferences may not be punished as much as other Federal Travel, but … so far, nothing about FY2014 is concrete. • PSAC is looking actively, for measures to reduce expenditures, and hopefully reduce registration fees. • ICOPS 2014 is talking about eliminating the subsidized Banquet. • ICOPS 2015 is negotiating a fixed Lodging/Meal package at the Conference Venue. • Extravagance, or even its appearance, is being carefully metered in present ICOPS planning. • Stay tuned for further developments!
