  1. English 10 - 1/30/12 • Why does Arnold go by two different names: Junior on the rez and Arnold at school? Do you have different names you use in different settings? Why? • Why do surgeons wear masks during surgery? • Inficious – given to denying, not accepting, blame. • Goals – Discuss a question or two from “Absolutely True…” Show each other where you found it and what it means to you. Discus one theme. • Homework – Read the book for at least fifteen minutes. Show me tomorrow that you have put some new stuff from the book under your questions. Don’t for get to study for Quiz #19.

What do you think is most true based on your experience? • What is the difference between an nurse and a nun? • Misocainea – abnormal dislike of all things new. • Goals – Continue reading for fun or working on your project to decide on a “Big Idea.” • Homework – Read the book for at least fifteen minutes.

Why is it important that he reconcile with Rowdy in the end? • What is large gray and wears glass slippers? • Gamomania – a form of insanity characterized by odd or extravagant proposals of marriage. • Goals – Read quietly or work on organizing quotes for the Big Idea project. Clarify ideas about the different aspects of the big idea. • Homework – Make sure you have read the entire book by Monday.
