Board/Annual Meeting Highlights • NERC update - Gerry Cauley • Board and MAC relationship • Open Communication • WECC – identify risks and avoid reliability issues • Panel – key reliability challenges • Reliability Assurance Initiative – risk based compliance • WECC outreach – energy policy communication and guidance • Board and MAC developed guiding principals policy • Board approved committee structure review taskforce • Data sharing – new draft NDA

KeyRecently Approved OC Items • Approved extension of the BAAL (RBC) Field Trial with an ACE transmission limit of 4 X L10 • Support NAESB approval of a manual time error correction bandwidth of +/- 30 seconds and termination at +/- 25 seconds • Approved WECC Pre and Post Contingency Plan Guideline

  4. Current OC Activities • Finalizing RBC Field Trial Report • Finalizing Unscheduled Flow Events Evaluation • Discuss Unscheduled Flow Dues Calculation • Proposal to remove 1995 dues cap • Long term solution • Review and approval of Path Operator Task Force Recommendations

  5. Future OCActivities • Work with Board and MAC on future committee structure • Support Peak Reliability ECC Taskforce • Support Dynamic/Pseudo Tie Scheduling Evaluation Taskforce • Support 15 Minute Scheduling Taskforce post implementation review • Draft 2015 OC Goals
