Exel Oyj Interim Report 1-9/2007 OutlookTulevaisuuden näkymät • Lower than expected sales in the Sport Division have resulted in write-offs of inventory as well as related intangible and tangible assets. • Sport-liiketoiminnan odotettua alhaisempi myynti on johtanut merkittäviin varastojen alaskirjauksiin sekä aineettomien ja aineellisten hyödykkeiden arvonalentumiskirjauksiin. • Delays in the deliveries in Sports may continue. • Jakeluongelmat saattavat jatkua Sportsissa. • Corrective actions are implemented to reduce the negative impact. • Korjaaviin toimenpiteisiin on ryhdytty negatiivisen vaikutuksen vähentämiseksi.

Exel Oyj Interim Report 1-9/2007 OutlookTulevaisuuden näkymät • It is expected that the Industry Division will continue on a good level throughout the year, despite the downturn in the antenna radomes market and still some lack of carbon fibre for certain type of applications. • Teollisuus-liiketoiminnan odotetaan jatkavan hyvällä tasolla läpi koko vuoden vaikkakin antenniprofiilimarkkina on hiljainen ja eräistä hiilikuitutyypeistä on edelleen pulaa joissakin tuotesovelluksissa • The main risks in the remainder of the year lie in the market demand in the Sport Division and in specific segments in the Industry Division, i.e. antenna radomes and wind energy. • Loppuvuonna merkittävimmät riskit koskevat markkinakysyntää Sportissa ja eräissä Teollisuuden segmenteissä, antennisuojaprofiileissa ja tuulienergiassa.

Exel Oyj Interim Report 1-9/2007 OutlookTulevaisuuden näkymät • In the interim report for the second quarter released on 25 July 2007, Exel expected the full year profit before taxes to improve compared with the 2006 profit before taxes and non-recurring items. • 25.7.2007 julkaistussa toisen vuosineljänneksen osavuosikatsauksessa Exel odotti vuoden 2007 tuloksen ennen veroja paranevan verrattuna vuoden 2006 tulokseen ennen veroja ja kertaluonteisia eriä. • Due to the write-offs and impairment losses of EUR 4.2 million, Exel now expects the profit before taxes for 2007 to be lower than the 2006 profit before taxes and non-recurring items (EUR 6.0 million). • Alaskirjauksista ja arvonalennuksista johtuen, yhteensä 4,2 miljoonaa euroa, Exel odottaa vuoden 2007 tuloksen ennen veroja olevan pienempi kuin vuoden 2006 tuloksen ennen veroja ja kertaluonteisia eriä (6,0 miljoonaa euroa).
