  3. The final Italy trip meeting will be held on Thursday, May 2 at 6pm in room 211. • All travelers and their parents should attend.

  4. OC Queens 2012-13 Best Season Ever! • 1st in the Pgh. State Championship U900, Game 60 • 7-11 team record in the Carlisle State Championshi • Interscholastic League play: 2-2 team record •                                                        9-7 in individual matches. • Bd 1 Grace Mitro (2-0). Undefeated. Returning next year. • Bd 2 Andrea Kazmierczak (1-0) Sophomore Sensation • Bd 3 Emily Carney (2-2) Team Captain. Tournament tough. • Bd 4 Abby Ceraso (1-0) Much improved. • Amber Ricci (1-1) League and Tournament Veteran • Bd 5 Rowan Sileo (2-1) Freshmen Surprize! • Alternates: Lauren Tedrick, RuiZhong, and Yewon Hwang

  5. Oakland Catholic's Track and Field Team won the 30 team South Fayette Track Invitational on Saturday.  • The team won 31 medals and ribbons with freshman Olivia Rowe winning 5 awards. Great job and congratulations to all of the runners that participated.

  6. Crew News • The Rowing team traveled to Fairfax Virginia to compete at the Al urquqi regatta. We were blessed with the best weather of the season which made for some fast racing.The 1 first varsity eight edged out  bishop Ireton  by .03 seconds in the final  to take second place behind a very fast Madison crew.The second varsity 8, 3rd eight and 1st Frosh all finished 3rd. The junior 4 and novice four Finished 4th in there final.This weekend we be at home preparing for  our Midwest championship the weekend of the May 11-12.

  7. Present student council members who are running for Executive Board for next year must turn in their papers for running today. • See Mrs. Benedik in G24 if you have questions!

  8. The Eagle Eye student newspaper is now online.  Visit the site at www.oceagleeye.com.  Read articles, view pictures and videos, submit comments, and vote in the poll.

  9. Kennywood School Picnic Information • Tickets will be on sale at Oakland Catholic on Thursday, May 2 from 10:30 – 11:00am. • The price of a ticket is $24 and only cash or money orders will be accepted.

  10. Do you know someone diagnosed with cancer? This Wednesday, May 1, support your loved ones and spread the awareness of cancer by picking up ribbons and bracelets that symbolize the several types of cancers. Wear the ribbons on your wrist or backpack to show just how many people are affected by this disease. All items are free and can be received during lunch periods at the back table.

  11. FREE CANCER RIBBONS! During lunch periods this Wednesday, May 1 pick up a ribbon symbolizing the cancer of a loved one and spread the awareness of this disease by wearing the ribbons on your wrist or backpack! All ribbons and bracelets are FREE!

  12. Seniors This is a reminder that your Final Transcript Report must be submitted  to the Guidance Office no later than April 30th. Thank You.

  13. MAPS is holding a drive for gently used blankets and children's books. • The drive benefits the babies and young children of Angel's Place and will run through April 30th. • Donations can be dropped off in the Guidance Office.

  14. Class of 2013 Scholarships $13, 436,208.00 $1,207,501.00 needed to beat the record of the Class of 2012!! Please submit your Final Transcript and Scholarship reports.  Thank you, Guidance Office

  15. "If you missed the brochure turn in date for the second annual 'Race Against Cancer' you can still participate in the race on Saturday May 4th with the cost of not having a t shirt. You can still pick up a brochure in the office for details or to sign up before the day of the race.Thank you!
