Proposed Revision to Fashion and Textiles • Proposed: increase the number of required upper division electives • Original: 9 s.h. upper and lower division electives (total of 21 s.h. upper division credit in major) • New: 9 s.h. upper division electives (total 25 s.h. upper division credit in major) • Rationale: to meet state mandate of 24 s.h. minimum upper division semester hours in a major

One of the three courses must have a service-learning (SL) attribute” • Rationale: greater focus on POLS content; SL will connect students to general practice in development field
