Founded by Tony Cann in Blackburn, Lancashire in 1997. • Research that led to the creation and development of the Promethean board innovation is not available. • New research is being preformed yearly. Newest research was completed by Dr. Robert Marzano • Case Studies by Round Rock and Atlanta are now available in regards to use of the activclassroom. To help improve innovators and early adopters understanding of the innovation the following may help: • Demonstrations of the multiple uses of the innovation • Impact of the innovation on how teachers can monitor student achievement utilizing the innovation. • Training on developing interactive activities with the innovation. • Support from Promethean Planet for teachers to provide training, supplies, communications, and a community of Promethean board users.
