Chorus Dues • Due Friday, September 6th • $40 per student or $60 per family • Includes Chorus T-shirt- delivered by 9/18 • All money helps fund student events throughout the year
Chorus Uniforms Required for all students • Due Friday, September 6th • Buy for $75 • Rent for $25/semester • Fundraising Opportunity: Ad Sales
Academic Eligibility • LGPE in March is the only mandatory chorus field trip. • ALL other fieldtrips are subject to student academic eligibility. If any school time is being missed, students must have a 74 or above in all classes missed. If a student is not eligible they will not be allowed on the trip and no money can be refunded. • ISS/OSS affects student eligibility for ALL after-school events. If a student has ISS or OSS on the day of a rehearsal, performance, or other after-school event, they are not able to attend. If that event is a required grade, it is an automatic zero. • Attendance at school is mandatory for ALL after-school events. If a student was absent the day of a rehearsal, performance, or other after-school event, they are not able to attend. If that event is a required grade, students must present a signed parent-note to Ms. Thomas to be eligible to make up the grade.
Kennesaw state universitychorus days Women’s Chorus Day- Thursday, October 10th, 2013 Men’s Chorus Day- Saturday, January 11th, 2014 • All-day rehearsal and evening concert with KSU faculty • Includes a tour of campus, lunch, dinner at KSU dining hall, and a t-shirt!
Orlando (Disney!) Trip • When: Thursday, March 20th- Sunday, March 23rd • Cost: $600 per student and Academic Eligibility • Fundraising Opportunities: Mixed Bag Sales, Kell Caroling Sales, Other TBA • Activities: Performance in Disney World and then visiting different Disney parks • Cost Includes: Transportation, hotel, admission to parks, breakfasts, one meal a day in the parks • Payment Schedule: 1stpayment of $200 due Friday, September 13th, 2013 • 2ndpayment of $200 due Friday, November 8th, 2013 • Final payment of $200 due Friday, February 7th, 2014
Student Fundraising • Open to all students • Not mandatory but solely to help offset costs of various chorus fees
Uniform Fundraiser • Program Advertisement Sales • Great for small businesses, places you frequent often, local restaurants, doctors offices, stores, etc. • 50% goes to student to offset cost of uniform • Advertisement sizes/prices: • Full-page- $100 ($50 to student) • Half-page $50 ($25 to student) • Business Card $25 ($12.50 to student) • Due Wednesday, October 2nd, 2013
