  4. Dates of ESL Academies • June 6th-28th half day • Instructional Days (M-TH) • NO Friday classes

  5. Students Spring Intersession Fall Intersession June ESL Academy

  6. Classroom Layout • 16:1 Student to teacher ratio • Pre-K OR K students • Students may be mixed from various schools • Classes will be collapsed if numbers are not met

  7. Instructional Day Summer free lunch program will be offered for ALL students.

  8. Compensation • $30 per hour • Total of 63 hours

  9. Required Documentation • Timesheet • Student roster/attendance • Phone log/parent communication • Submit at the end of each week to DSC/Bilingual office • Return all materials on the last day (6/28/12)

  10. T.I.A.’s • Temporary instructional aides will be assigned to each campus • Assist with daily procedures and provide support in the classroom

  11. Lesson Plans • A copy of lesson plans will be provided to you • Follow suggested plans • If additional activities are utilized, please provide a copy

  14. Next steps… • Complete campus plan and fax to 851-7458 by Thursday, May 24th • Attend orientation at your designated site from 8 am to 12 pm on June 5th • Send all student checklists to Rosemary via district mail by Friday, May 25th
