Mortimer • Mortimer has a World that has several places to visit. • Among them are deserts, beaches, lakes, and grasslands. • A visitor has arrived. • Using (overly) proper manners, Mortimer shows his new friend around his world.
The desert • Our first stop is the desert region of Mortimer’s World. • Mortimer talks about the desert, explaining a few features. • His new friend listens, asks appropriate questions, and learns about the desert. • They do not interrupt each other, and are polite when speaking.
The beach • Our next stop is the beach region of Mortimer’s World. • Mortimer talks about the beach, explaining a few features. • His friend listens, asks appropriate questions, and learns about the beach. • They do not interrupt each other, and are polite when speaking.
The lake • Our third stop is the lakes region of Mortimer’s World. • Mortimer talks about lakes, explaining a few features. • His friend listens, asks appropriate questions, and learns about the beach. • They do not interrupt each other, and are polite when speaking.
Saying goodbye • Our final stop is the Visitors Center on Mortimer’s World. • The flamingo thanks Mortimer for his time. • Mortimer responds appropriately and asks her to come again. • Flamingo and Mortimer say goodbye and Flamingo leaves.
