IDSS Materials • IDSS templates are XML based. • Allows for more flexibility • Simple to understand and use • The XML templates, Data Validations, and Data Dictionaries are available on NCQA’s website: http://www.ncqa.org/tabid/370/Default.aspx
What’s New in 2010? • Updated the User Management Tool • Added the Organization Management Tool • Redesigned the Submission List page • Removed the Satisfaction with Experience of Care Domain from the ART • Added an Attestation e-sign option • Organization Administrators can set the public reporting intentions for the Attestation • Added the Detail Report
E-Signing the Attestation • New e-sign Attestation • Only an authorized officer of the company has the rights to e-sign the Attestaion and should be assigned the Signer role • After the applying the plan lock the Organization Administrator sets the public reporting intentions and notifies the Signer that the Attestation is ready to be e-signed • Created an e-sign tutorial and separate instructions for how to e-sign the Attestation
Advantages of E-signing • NCQA receives the Attestation immediately • Public reporting intentions and signature are electronically captured • No longer need to mail in the Paper Attestation with the “wet signature” • Support NCQA’s green efforts!
