To learn how to use the MEB, it will be important to: • Read on-screen text in the MEB • Reference the online Help file • Be willing to experiment!
Four ways to create an exercise: • Copy and edit a publisher exercise • Copy and edit a sample exercise • Copy and edit another instructor's exercise • Start with a new exercise

Types of exercises you can write: • Static exercise – all students get the same values for the exercise • Algorithmic exercise – values are randomly generated per constraints set by the author
