  9. Alternatives and Extensions How will I provide remediation if the student does not meet my criteria? I have built-in many help options for students who may need assistance during the WebQuest. They will also be working in pairs or small groups for several of the activities and may receive help from peers. If a student still continues to struggle he/she can work directly with me on his/her own time. How could I extend the lesson for gifted students? I have also built-in several extra activities for students who finish work early. Those assignments are marked by the alarm clock symbol. Prior to beginning the WebQuest I will let students know that this is the first time that students have completed this internet lesson. They will have the opportunity at the end of the unit to give me their ideas on how to improve the WebQuest for future students.
