.This story takes place in a scorching desert next to the pyramids in Egypt, in about 2001. This is important because there are no other pyramids in the world that are surrounded by a desert. This book would be different if it took place at the Mayan Pyramids in Mexico, because those pyramids are surrounded by a jungle. Setting
Amy and Dan have to get to the forth clue in one of the pyramids, but Amy feels someone else is going after the clue to. Amy has to find Dan because he ran off but since Dan ran off she forgot all of the clues to find the main clue. So now she has to start all over. Conflict
Amy and Dan have to find the 4th clue inside a pyramid. They don’t know what pyramid. This story is about two young kids working together trying to accomplish a goal. This book begins off as two kids not knowing were to start off at. They work together and then they find something important. At the end of the book they end finding the clue but they realize they have to find another. Summary of Plot
If you work together you can accomplish anything. Amy “Says we need Dan to help us find this clue. Page 3 Amy and Dan group up with a guy named Theo to help. Page 11 Amy goes running after Dan to get him to stop running. Page 3 Theme
This book has 1st and 3rd person point of view. The reason this book has both is because it adds more detail. If it did not have both point of views this book would not be that interesting. Point of View
I pick the pyramid as the symbol in this book because they are in Egypt. This is a very good symbol because the clue is in side the pyramid. So the pyramid is the biggest problem. Symbolism
If you like slow mystery then this is the book for you. If you like non stop action, this would probably not be the book for you. This is a very interesting book and I'm glad I did my report on this book. Recommendation
